Capitol Park - studying & self testing for tree id
Perfect place for it - lots of different kinds of trees, lots & lots of them labeled. They give tree tours here, but I'm just taking myself around on my own special wandering journey...

Hunting - from master tree list -
Started at Westwood Park - found two kinds of hackberries
European hackberry
Chinese hackberry
Supposed to be Desert Willow but is Chitalpa - related but not the same -

Unusual growth habit
Confirmed by it's distinctive bell-shaped flowers
Spotted a nice Fig for a photo
Found not just one but several Kentucky Coffee Trees planted on the same street

Went over to the Cemetery to see what trees are there - and visit Joe & Susan - most no problem to id - did collect leaves from some
